Ad Set
The Meta campaign level where budget, schedule, audience targeting, placements, and optimization settings are defined for a group of ads.
What it means in practice
Every ad inside an ad set shares its delivery configuration, including audience, optimization event, schedule, and placement selection. Moving creative between ad sets can expose it to different auction conditions and learning histories.
Why it matters
Ad set structure controls how fairly creator ads compete and how clearly performance can be interpreted.
How it is used
A buyer groups UGC ads for the same audience and conversion goal within one ad set.
